Anne Järvi
Anne Järvi (b. 1988) is a Finnish visual artist who mainly works with drawing, animation and textile sculpture. She is a graduate of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (BA). In her practice Järvi reflects on how it feels to live in the world, and endeavours to capture different emotions connected to it, such as frustration, inadequacy and alienation. She is interested in the gradual, inconspicuous impact of repetition, unwritten rules, and thought patterns embraced in silence, and asks what happens when nothing seems to be happening.

Yksi vielä / Just One More is a hand-drawn animation I started working with during my residency period in Örö December 2017. It is a story about living.
